Which cookies and browser storage gridmats.com uses, and how you choose. On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept or refuse the ones that are not necessary. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
1. Necessary (always on)
- Your estimate in progress: the answers and contact details you enter are kept in your own browser, so the free estimate keeps its steps as you move between pages. A form waiting to be sent is also kept there if your connection drops, and removed once it reaches us. You can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Your cookie choice: kept in your browser, so we don't ask again.
- Hosting: our website host, Wix, sets short technical cookies that help deliver pages and forms securely (sec-fetch-unsupported, server-session-bind and client-session-bind, and on the blog pages a visitor session, wixSession). They end when you close your browser.
2. Analytics (only if you accept)
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager measure visits, pages and sources so we can improve the site. Cookies: _ga and _ga_*, for up to 2 years. If you refuse, Google receives only cookieless signals, under Google Consent Mode.
Wix Analytics, from our website host, counts visits and pages for our Wix dashboard. Cookies: wixSession (a visitor session, up to 180 days) and bSession (the current visit, 30 minutes). If you refuse, it does not run.
3. Advertising (only if you accept)
Google Ads measures which ads lead to enquiries and shows GridMats ads to past visitors. Its cookies (such as _gcl_au, and cookies on doubleclick.net) are set by Google, for up to about 13 months. You can also manage Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
4. Chat and visitor recognition (only if you accept)
Zoho SalesIQ runs our website chat and recognises returning visitors. If you then send us a form, it links your visit to your enquiry. Its cookies are set by Zoho.
5. Your choices
Choose "Accept all" or "Only necessary" in the banner, and change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The website works either way; only the chat needs your acceptance.
