Part A · Using this website

A1. Acceptance

By using www.gridmats.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

A2. Information, estimates and figures

The content is general information. First-cut estimates, installed-cost ranges, the system finder and example designs are indicative only: they are not offers, and they are not a design for your site. Test results are laboratory results under the stated conditions; a pavement's capacity comes from a design for its traffic and soil. Designs, prices and dates bind GridMats only in a written quotation or agreement.

A3. Intellectual property

GridMats®, the logo, the system names, and the text, drawings, photographs, videos and documents on this site belong to GroundReality Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. The GridMats grid is protected by Indian Patent 398992. You may view and download documents to evaluate GridMats for a project. You may not copy, change or republish them for any other purpose without our written permission.

A4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site. For example, do not send false details or someone else's details through the forms, send spam, try to break into or overload the site, copy it in bulk by automated means, or use it to break the law. We may block access that we believe is abusive.

A5. Links

Links to other sites, such as news, social media and video, are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

A6. Liability

The site is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, GridMats is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

A7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.

Part B · Standard terms of supply

B1. Quotations and orders

Every supply is made against a written GridMats quotation and your purchase order. A quotation is valid until the date stated on it. The quotation, the purchase order and any project agreement set out the products, quantities, prices and specific terms, and they prevail over this Part B.

B2. Prices and payment

Prices are as stated on the quotation (in Indian rupees for supplies in India), ex-works. GST (currently 18%) is extra, and freight is charged at cost unless the quotation says otherwise. Payment is 100% in advance with the purchase order, unless the quotation says otherwise. Pay only into the bank account printed on the GridMats invoice or, where offered, through the secure payment link on the invoice. We never change our bank details by email or WhatsApp.

B3. Training

We train your contractor's execution team and give our SOP and installation guide.

• For orders of 2,000 m² or more, one GridMats trainer comes to site for up to 3 days, once you confirm in writing that the site is ready and the execution team is available. The trainer demonstrates about 100 m² of installation to the project agreement and the SOP.
• Smaller orders are trained online, at no extra cost.
• On-site training is built into the product rate: one purchase order, and no separate service order.
• After the training, your contractor's trained supervisor releases each hold point and sends photographs to our engineer.

B4. Delivery

The dispatch date is confirmed with your order. Unloading at site is by the customer. Please check the delivery on arrival and report any shortage or transit damage promptly, with photographs, so that we can resolve it.

B5. Installation

Installation is by your contractor, to the GridMats SOP, the installation guide and the design for your site. Base preparation, drainage, compaction, infill and curing are part of the works, not of the product.

B6. Defect liability

GridMats gives a defect liability period (DLP) of 1 year from handover, our standard practice. It covers manufacturing defects in the GridMats products supplied. We give no other warranty.

The DLP applies only when your team has shared project status updates with us systematically: photographs, test reports, and any roadblocks or challenges, at each hold point and at the intervals set in the project agreement.

The DLP does not cover:

• installation that departs from the SOP or the design;
• failure of the base, subgrade or drainage;
• loads or uses beyond the design;
• damage by others;
• normal wear.

B7. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, GridMats' total liability under an order is limited to the price paid for the products under that order, and GridMats is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, production or use.

B8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government action, strikes, transport disruption and vessel delays.

B9. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
