Light traffic in three days, trucks in seven, and no saw-cut joints
The 40 mm GridMats® grid (OC-HD 40 for trucks, OC-LW 40 for lighter traffic), laid on a compacted base and filled with crushed 6–12 mm chips treated with 4–6% cement, plate-compacted and brushed flush. Kerb or edge restraint on both sides; U-nails one per 2–3 m² on roads and slopes, one per 10 m² on flat yards, extra on embankments, edges and cut lines.

Why it wins
- Built for trucks up to 49 t gross. The empty OC-HD 40 panel carried 170 t/m² in the latest lab compression test; the pavement itself is designed from your traffic and soil.
- No saw-cut joints, no dowels. The cells arrest shrinkage cracks, so there is no joint cutting or sealing crew.
- Light traffic in three days, not four weeks. Moist-cured 3 days; light vehicles at 3 days, trucks at 7 once the 7-day cubes reach 2 MPa. Built bay by bay in shutdown windows.
- Dust-free, repairable. A hard grey surface that reads as concrete; damaged cells are refilled, not cut out.
- Designed to the terrain and the rain. Cross-section by topography, drainage by rainfall intensity: plain or steep sites.
- ESG line item. Per 1,000 m²: 6.6 t of plastic waste reused, and cement only in the 40 mm layer, at 4–6%. The handover file reports the numbers for your site.

Installation at a glance
The six steps, what you need and when it opens, on one page. The installation guide comes by email on request; the SOP, the hold-point checklists and the method statement for your site come with your order. We train your contractor’s team: on site for up to 3 days for orders of 2,000 m² or more once the site is confirmed ready, online at no extra cost below that; on-site training is built into the product rate (one PO).

Drainage and terrain
Designs are customised to geography, rainfall intensity and topography: sub-surface drains sized to the rainfall class, cross-sections for plain and steep terrain.
