Systems and products
A system is what gets built: the finish you see, the load it carries, the base and the method. A product is what GridMats supplies for it. Start with the three questions below: they give you a system, its installed cost per square foot and when it opens to traffic. Product prices for procurement teams follow further down.
Cell confinement is not new: it was developed with the US Army Corps of Engineers in the late 1970s and has been used worldwide since. In India, cell-filled concrete pavement is among the new technologies for rural roads under PMGSY. GridMats adds a recycled-plastic grid, tested at IIT Hyderabad and patented in India (Indian Patent 398992).

1 · Find the right GridMats system
Three questions. The answer shows the system, why it fits, its installed cost and when it opens; your free estimate then prices your own site.
Gross vehicle weight. The pavement itself is designed on the axle loads from your axle survey or VDF.
Built for trucks of 25–28 t every day: OC-HD 40 filled with cement-treated chips gives a hard, dust-free surface with no saw-cut joints to crack.
Product: OC-HD 40 at ₹84–107/sq ft (₹900–1,150/m²) by order size, ex-works, ex-GST.

*Installed cost varies with local material availability, labour, transport, base design and site conditions; every site is priced from its own design. For comparison, an IRC:58 concrete road runs ₹269–297 per sq ft (₹2,900–3,200 per m²) on our cost sheets and needs about 28 days of curing before full load. Heaviest vehicle is the gross weight; the pavement is designed on the axle loads from your axle survey or VDF. Product prices for procurement are in section 3.

For buyers ordering the grid itself: sizes, lab tests and the price by order size. Most projects start from the installed system cost above. On a project quote the product rate also carries the training of your contractor’s team, so there is one PO.
Every product ships with its dimensions, mass, material (100% post-consumer polypropylene for the grids), certificates (GreenPro, patent 398992, PCT WO2023/100191), load tests with the laboratory named, pack size and the lead time confirmed with each purchase order. Terms: 100% advance with the order, GST 18% extra, transport at cost.

Load tests are laboratory compression tests on a single panel. They compare panels; the capacity of a pavement comes from the base designed for its traffic and soil.

The ladder is the base product price. On a project quote, the on-site training of your contractor’s team is built into the product rate: one PO. Online training is at no extra cost. The tier is set by the square metres on one purchase order. A 12-month rate contract for a group, a park or a repeat buyer is priced in the last column whatever the size of each call-off. Prices ex-works Bengaluru; GST 18% and freight extra.
