Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website, www.gridmats.com, is run by GroundReality Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. ("GridMats", "we"), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We decide how the personal data collected through the website, our forms, chat, WhatsApp and our sales process is used, and we are responsible for it.

2. What we collect

• What you give us: name, company, email, mobile or WhatsApp number, city, state and country, and the project details you enter (what you are building, area, vehicles, finish, soil, rainfall, terrain, timelines and notes).
• Documents and messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or chat, such as drawings, photographs and soil reports.
• Order and pay look-ups: the document number and the email or total you enter. They are used only to find that document and are not kept as a record about you.
• Automatically, when you allow it: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site, through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Wix Analytics and Zoho SalesIQ (see our Cookie Policy).
• Security records: your IP address and the time of a form request, kept briefly to stop spam and abuse.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare estimates, designs, quotations and proposals.
• To process orders, invoices, payments and dispatch, to train your contractor's team, and to follow the project, including the status updates that the defect liability period depends on.
• To send you what you asked for, such as data sheets, fliers, partner documents and project updates. Marketing messages go only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
• To run, secure and improve the website, including measuring visits and ads when you allow it.
• To meet legal duties such as GST, accounting and records law, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We process personal data with your consent, or for the legitimate uses the law allows, such as completing an order you asked for or meeting a legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers who process it for us: Zoho (CRM, Books and SalesIQ, in its India data centre), Wix (website hosting and Wix Analytics), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads) and Meta (WhatsApp, when you message us there). Each works under its own terms and security controls.
• People who help deliver your project: transport and logistics providers, and an authorised GridMats channel partner for your region when you have agreed to it.
• Authorities, advisers and successors: when the law requires it, our professional advisers under confidentiality, or a buyer of the business.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside India

Some providers, such as Google and Wix, may process data outside India. We allow this only as Indian law permits, and only with providers that protect data to recognised standards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer records while we need them for the purposes above, and for as long as tax, company and accounting laws require (for example, books of account for eight years). Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account, at most 14 months; Wix Analytics keeps site statistics under Wix's own terms. Security records are deleted within days.

7. Your rights

You can ask us:

• what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• to correct, complete or update it;
• to erase it, where the law does not require us to keep it;
• to withdraw your consent (this does not affect what was done before);
• to nominate someone to act for you.

Write to privacy@gridmats.com. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

This website is meant for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18.

9. Security

We protect personal data with reasonable security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), keys held only on our servers, limited access, and spam and abuse protection. See our Security page. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
