- S2 stone chip or gravel for nature trails, forest and estate roads, and visitor parking: local stone locked in the cells, firm underfoot and open to rain.
- S3 grass and soil for overflow parking, ranger access and picnic lawns that stay green.

- S6 top-covered mats for temporary access to work sites and events, lifted afterwards.
Why it is used
- Rain soaks in where it falls: no sealed surface and no runoff cutting into the slopes.
- The cells hold the gravel in place, so trails keep their shape through the monsoon instead of rutting and washing out.
- A natural finish in local stone or grass, with no concrete or asphalt in the landscape.
- Opens the same day: nothing to cure. The grid is made from recycled plastic.
