Illustrative render: cement-treated gravel internal road between array rows

What we supply

  • S1 cement-treated gravel for main internal roads, inverter and transformer yards: vehicles up to 49 t gross, no saw-cut joints; trucks at 7 days once the cubes reach 2 MPa.
  • S2 permeable stone chip for O&M tracks, laydown and substation yards: open the same day, rain goes through.
  • S6 top-covered mats for crane pads and temporary access that move with the crew.
  • One method statement for every contractor: base by load class, edge restraint, U-nails at the SOP spacing, hold-point QC.

Why it is used

  • Speed: a crew of four lays 300–400 m² of grid a day; the road is in use the same week.
  • Weak ground: confinement doubles the effective base stiffness on CBR 5 subgrades (IIT Hyderabad), so the granular layer is thinner and the borrow-pit smaller.
  • Priced per km: one rate for the park, one method statement for every contractor.
  • ESG line item: 6.6 t of plastic waste reused per 1,000 m², and rain returned to the ground on the permeable areas, reported per site.
